Does life feel pointless right now?

Maybe you find yourself staring at the telly but not really watching it, feeling restless, bored, or flat. You might be dragging yourself through each day, wondering why you don’t enjoy the things you used to – like walking the dog, seeing friends, or listening to music. You might feel low or anxious and can’t quite put your finger on why.

Perhaps you’re lying awake at night asking yourself ‘is this the right relationship for me?’ Wondering if you’re with the wrong person, or if there’s something wrong with you. Maybe you’re Googling things like ‘narcissist’ or ‘toxic relationship’, trying to make sense of how disconnected or hurt you feel.

If you’re coping with a recent breakup, it might feel like your heart’s been ripped out. You can’t stop checking their social media or replaying every conversation in your head. It might seem impossible to imagine feeling calm or happy again.

You might have started drinking a bit too much to take the edge off in the evenings, only to wake up at 3am with crushing anxiety, worrying about what you said in a group chat or how you acted at the weekend.

Counselling can help with all of this. Whether you’re dealing with grief after losing a parent, struggling to adjust to retirement or an empty nest, or feeling like a failure as a new mum or dad, we can work through it together. Maybe school or uni is overwhelming, or you’re dreading Mondays because your boss makes your stomach turn.
